Guadalhorce will host the Spain Long Drivers European Tour Championship in September.

The Real Guadalhorce Golf Club will host for the second time in the history of the tour the Spain LDET (Long Drivers European Tour) Championship on September 20 and 21.
This will be the second time that the Malaga club will host a long drive tournament. “We are very proud to host the tournament in September. We are in a perfect location in Malaga, next to the international airport, and our facilities are an ideal place to host this tournament. The whole team at the club is eager to welcome the best players and make them feel at home,” says Ignacio Sanchez, director of Real Guadalhorce.
The last time the LDET circuit visited the course, in 2017, European champion Matt Nicolle (368/332/382) beat Steve Curtis (330/343/327) in an incredible and exciting final by 2 sets to 1. Aleksi Kivini finished in third position.
The tournament will have the collaboration of the Tourism Area and Málaga Deporte y Eventos of Málaga City Council.

Real Guadalhorce Golf Club
Located in the Guadalhorce valley, 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the historic center, the club enjoys a great history in the world of golf. Designed by Kosti Kuronen and later redesigned by the winner of four Ryders Cups Miguel Angel Jimenez.
