
The Pitch & Putt Championships of Andalusia Under 21 and Benjamins -which have been played in two days under stroke play scratch mode- have ended today in the Malaga courses of Bil Bil Golf and Benalmádena Golf.
Bil Bil Golf has hosted the men’s event, in which the player of Guadalhorce Club de Golf, Victor Jimenez Bravo, has been proclaimed absolute champion after signing today a round of 48 strokes that, together with the 51 that he delivered yesterday, have earned him the first place with 99 strokes to the total (-9) and one of advantage over the second classified, the local player, Javier Quero.
As for the junior classification, the player of the Club de Golf la Cañada, Angel Ayora, has won with a cumulative total of 105 strokes, two less than the federated by the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Mateo Ruiz, who followed in second place.
In the children’s classification, the player of Guadalhorce Club de Golf, Guillermo Cervantes, and the player of Alhaurín Golf, Rocco Paolo Repetto, finished tied with 109 strokes. The tiebreaker was resolved on the 4th play-off hole in favor of Guillermo Cervantes.
As for the handicap classification, the winner was the SIGA-Sotogrande player, Pelayo Pérez, with 99 net strokes.
Moving on to the competition in Benalmádena Golf, with 104 cumulative strokes, the Villa Padierna Golf player, Valentina Albertazzi, was proclaimed absolute champion, two strokes ahead of Mimi Rhodes (Club de Golf La Cañada), who came in second place.
On the other hand, Laura Gómez (Real Club de Golf Guadalmina), has been proclaimed champion in junior category, with 106 strokes and after winning in the 4th hole of play off against the player of La Siesta, Sara Navarro.
The victory in the handicap classification went to local player Selina Diana Reguera, with 101 net strokes.
Finally, moving on to the youngest, the junior champion was Alexander Amey (Real Club de Golf Guadalmina), with 57 strokes and one stroke ahead of the Lauro Golf player, Álvaro Gómez de Linares.
Among the girls, the triumph, with 58 strokes, was for the local player Claudia Casas -who also occupied the first position in the handicap classification-, while in second place, with 72 strokes, was the player of Villa Padierna, Cristina Albertazzi.
The winner in the men’s handicap classification was the player from Guadalhorce Club de Golf, Víctor Leiva, with 52 net strokes.
The awards ceremony at Benalmádena Golf was presided over by Pablo Mansilla, President of the Pitch and Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Ángel Pereira, representing Benalmádena Golf; Carlos Ramón de Fata, member of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and José Luis Avilés, tournament referee.
