Mimi Rhodes has been proclaimed overall winner in the Andalusian Women’s Pitch & Putt Championship, after the second round was cancelled due to heavy storms and the large amount of water that fell during the morning at the Greenlife Golf course in Malaga (Marbella).
Therefore, the result has been reduced to the 18 holes played yesterday, which the player from La Cañada, Mimi Rhodes, finished with an extraordinary card of 49 strokes (-5).
After the suspension of this second round, the awards ceremony was attended by Pablo Mansilla, President of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; José Manuel Crespo, member of the Pitch & Putt Committee; José Luis Avilés, chief referee of the tournament; and Antonio Estudillo, representing Greenlife Golf.
