Once again this year the spectacular Real Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri, in the town of Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz, has demonstrated its extraordinary quality as the setting for the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and has as its grand final prize five one-week trips to Riviera Maya, Mexico, including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleón Mayacoba and Playa Paraíso.
Sunny weather, moderate wind and a temperature of around 24 degrees helped the 120 players in the tournament to enjoy even more the magnificent Mar y Pinos course designed by Seve Ballesteros in an enviable natural setting next to one of the best beaches in Spain: La Barrosa. Halfway through the course, on one of the terraces of the clubhouse, the participants recharged their batteries with a tasty snack. It is worth mentioning the work carried out by the club’s director, Rafael Hernández Alcalá, who made sure that everything went well, and his team, with special mention to Odalis, responsible for Tournaments, and the staff who were in charge of serving the refreshments and handing out the welcome packs to the players.
The drawing of gifts was done virtually and it was the director of the host club himself who announced the names of the winners. Watch video.
In terms of sporting results, in the first category the first three classified were Manuel Dúctor Jiménez (40 points), Borja García Sangra (39) and Borja Nieto Aguirre (38).
The top three in the second category, who finished with the same points, were Miguel Iribarren Cavalle ( (42 points)Alfredo Serrano Romero (40) and Andre Hoefert (39).

Apart from the prizes of each competition, the first classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a direct place to play the grand final of the circuit at the Marbella Golf Resort on October 2, with closing dinner of the circuit at the restaurant El Gamonal in Marbella and thus opt for one of the five trips to Riviera Maya for a week. The remaining places for the final game are obtained based on a ranking based on the points obtained in the tournaments played.
