Spieth and McIlroy, among the celebrities under 30 who have won the most in a year

Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlory have been able to cash in on their extraordinary talent over the past two seasons. Their names have appeared on Forbes magazine’s recently released list of the 30 highest-earning celebrities under 30 (based on their earnings between June 1, 2015 and June 1, 2016).

Spieth, 23 , ranked 10th in that section of celebrities under 30, with a total of $53 million in estimated pre-tax earnings, including $32 million in sponsorships from companies such as Under Armour, Coca Cola and Titleist.

McIlroy, 27, was listed in 14th place at $42.5 million, which included the $20 million sponsorship from Nike, but not the $10 million he pocketed for winning the FedEx Cup in September.

Taylor Swift topped the list of celebrities under 30, with earnings of about $170 million, followed by the band One Direction ($110 million) and soccer player Lionel Messi ($81.5 million).
