Although all “normal” tickets for the Ryder Cup next September in France are sold out, there is still a chance to enjoy the greatest golf spectacle in the world live on the course. To do so, however, you will have to the economy is healthy, since the company’s prices to attend a single day of competition at Le Golf National vary from 550 and 1,450 euros per person in the so-called hospitality packages. Of course, if you purchase one of them, you will enjoy Vip treatment, and more vip the more money you shell out.
In the cheapest package, at 550 euros per person, you will have a seat at a table for 8, 10 or 12 people at the Riviera Restaurant, next to hole 7, a television to follow the game live, catering service throughout the day – breakfast, buffet lunch and afternoon snack, as well as drinks – access to a balcony overlooking the course, official magazine, free subscription to the radio broadcast of the tournament and a commemorative gift. However, you will need at least seven other guests to reserve the table, which costs 4,400 euros for eight.
The most expensive package, 11,400 for a table of 8, offers the same services as the cheapest but in a more privileged location, next to the 17th hole, overlooking the green and the approach area.
There is another option that offers more privacy than a table in a large tent: the Seines Suites, private chalets designed for companies with a capacity for 30 to 50 people, at a minimum overall price of 23,550 euros, or 785 euros per person.
There is however good news for fans who want to imbibe the spirit of the Ryder Cup at Le Golf National at a much more modest price. However, they will only be able to attend the practice days on the days prior to the competition, i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (the tournament is played from Friday to Sunday). For each of the first two days the adult ticket price is 45 euros, and for Friday, 80 euros.
As you can see, apart from being a great spectacle, the Ryder Cup is big business.
