The Parador Malaga Golf hosted the sixteenth edition of the traditional Pro Am Costa del Golf Tourism that also had a guest tournament at Lauro Golf and finally won by a classic of the competition as El Chaparral Golf. At the awards ceremony, tribute was paid to the golf course designer Enrique Canales.
The day began very early, at eight in the morning, when the players began to arrive at the Parador Malaga Golf to be accredited and collect the cards of this classic Pro-Am already in the calendar of the Costa del Sol where representatives of all the Costa del Sol courses compete for a Cup that everyone wants to win.
In addition, a group of around 30 guests went to the Lauro Golf course where they also enjoyed an excellent day of golf where the first three positions went to Manuel Lozano, winner of the tournament, and Guillermo de Grosso and Daniel Hierrezuelo, who finished second and third respectively.
The tournament began at nine o’clock sharp and lasted until almost half past two in the afternoon on an excellent course where the conditions of the course were
impeccable fairways in perfect condition, very fast greens and a breeze that made the temperature not exceed 24 degrees, all perfect for playing a great golf tournament.
In the end, the victory went to the El Chaparral team, which achieved 129 strokes, followed by Almenara, which finished with 130 strokes and La Duquesa, which finished third with 132 impacts.
