Between July 21 and 26, the Alps de Andalucía will be held at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina (in the picture). This event belongs to the Alps Circuit, which is the third level of competition of the European professional golf circuit and will be supported by the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation.
To encourage the participation in the competition of our Andalusian professionals, the RFGA Professional Technical Committee has decided to pay the registration fee for the Preliminary -to be played on Monday, July 21- to all those Club Professionals with a valid license for Andalusia, understanding Club Professionals as those who do not compete regularly in tournaments with prize money and who are mainly engaged in teaching, maintenance, advice or any other activity related to golf or to the club to which they belong.
In addition, a place by invitation will be reserved for the professional who achieves the best classification in the qualifying round and who is not qualified to participate in the competition in any other way.
Grants for European Tour Qualifying School
It should also be noted that the Professionals Technical Committee will grant aid to two professional players to access the Qualifying School of the European Tour.
The application period for these grants was opened with the publication of Circular 46/14 on the website of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation and will end at 12:00 noon on Sunday, July 20.
