Tiger Woods prepares a book of memoirs in which he will tell “my definitive story”.

Tiger Woods will write what he describes as his definitive story in an autobiography titled Back. HarperCollins Publishers has announced that it has acquired the rights to the first autobiography written by Woods. A publication date has not yet been set.
The memoir will cover Woods’ career, from his youth as a golf prodigy to becoming the youngest Masters champion and the only player to hold all four major tournament titles at the same time.
He will also address his decline due to injuries and the personal problems that led to his divorce, including his return to competition after undergoing four back surgeries and winning the Masters at the age of 43 to win his 15th major.
“I’ve been in the spotlight for a long time and because of that they’ve put out books and articles and TV shows about me, most of them with errors, speculation and misstatements,” Woods said.

“This book is my definitive story. It is my words and expresses my feelings. I describe how I feel and what has happened in my life. I’ve been working on it regularly, and I’m excited to continue the process and present a book that people will want to read.”
Woods, with 81 PGA Tour victories and one away from tying Sam Snead’s record, will return to competition next week in Japan.
