The elite sport has again an appointment in the facilities of Antequera Golf Group with the celebration of the European University Golf Championship, an event in which there will be representation from France, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom and Spain and which will take place from June 24 to 27.
The vice-rector of the University of Malaga, Chantal Pérez, the mayor of Antequera, Manuel Barón, the director of University Sports of the UMA, Pedro Montiel, the president of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Pablo Mansilla, and the CEO of Antequera Golf Group, Ramón Jiménez, have presented the sixth edition of this international competition, which will have the participation of 12 universities from six countries: France (Toulouse, Capitole and Bourgogne); Switzerland (St. Gallen); Portugal (Algarve); Germany (Karlsruhe and Mannheim); United Kingdom (Stirling) and Spain (Navarra, Abat Oliba CEU, Abat Oliba CEU and the University of Malaga). The relationship between sports and Antequera is getting closer and closer.
