Sara Navarro Morilla has fulfilled the predictions that postulated her as the main favorite for the title and with a sensational round of 50 strokes (4 under par), has been proclaimed winner of the second edition of the International Championship of Andalusia Women’s Pitch & Putt, a competition held a day at Aloha Golf. The player from Malaga, who a week ago achieved sixth place in the Women’s Andalusia Cup, delivered a card with seven birdies and only three bogeys.
In addition, the golfer of Club de Golf La Siesta has added a second title by winning with great authority in the Major classification.
As for the rest of the winners, Nerea Domínguez Ariza, with one round under par (53 strokes), won the Minor category.
Among the Seniors, the victory went to María Rodríguez Doblas, two strokes ahead of a trio formed by Candelaria Flores Montilla, Beatriz Cervera Arango and María Amparo Rosendo Hurtado.
Finally, regarding the handicap classifications, Valentina Albertazzi and Bárbara Contreras Luna, both with a record of 53 net strokes, won the first and second category, respectively.
The awards ceremony of the Andalusian International Women’s P&P Championship was attended, among others, by Antonio Fuentes, Acting President of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Michael Frost, Chairman of the Aloha Golf Competition Committee; and Blanca Hermana, Chief Referee of the championship.
